Old Roads, New Dreams is a launch concept for the new Karmann Ghia, reimagining a classic without taking away its soul.

The project begins with the creation of the car itself: a modern interpretation of one of the most elegant silhouettes in automotive history. The new model preserves the spirit of the original, emotional presence and timeless sense of style, while translating it into a cleaner, more contemporary language.

The concept is built on the idea that some roads never really end. They stay with us. In memories, in relationships, in the way certain machines become part of our lives.
That thought becomes the foundation for the launch film.
The story begins with a couple who first met inside an old Karmann Ghia. Years pass, life changes, but the bond remains. Decades later, they meet the new model, not as a memory, but as the continuation of something they never stopped living.

The film positions the car as a bridge between eras: classic in spirit, modern in form, and still made for people who believe the road can carry more than distance.
